Working with Trillium Gift of Life and Lashbrook Marketing & Public Relations, we were tasked to create and promote a campaign to raise awareness and registration for Organ Donation.
With the help of 3 others, I directed the Heart2Heart campaign and managed its video, website, branding, marketing, and creative direction. In addition, I created and managed the back-end side of this project.
Communication through friends and family is often an effective method of spreading information. Our primary goal was to help people pass that initial awkward barrier of talking about more serious subjects. Our campaign encouraged open discussion about organ donation as well as help inform them about the benefits of becoming an organ donor.
Helping guide potential donors in the right direction was another core focus of this campaign. All of our campaign materials was made sure to encourage people to our website where they could find out more information.
We made it easy for people to find out the statistics on organ donation as well as the process of becoming a donor.
Trying to engage people further than the initial first look can be tricky. The campaign aimed to have donors participate in various competitions and events. We wanted to build a sense of community towards one another. The campaign offered various ways of getting free Heart2Heart mechandise when signing up.
